I am a pluralist with a specialization in the history of philosophy. I recently completed my doctorate at the University of Oregon. My research work lies at the intersection of American philosophy, German Idealism, Phenomenology, Neo-Kantianism, and Existentialism. My doctoral thesis focuses on William Ernest Hocking’s philosophy of intersubjectivity with particular emphasis on his ethical and political thought. As I see it, philosophy represents the most effective way to bridge the chasm between thought and life, self and other.
